I hope everyone is doing well as we wrap up another year. Today I only have a few things I want to touch base on before we turn the page on 2018 and dive into 2019.
Personally I’m having a great time “playing” with the Fore Stories website and blog. I want to thank everyone who has taking a look at and have read the Fore Stories blog. It’s turning out to be a great creative outlet for me and I’m glad folks are finding the stories, insights, and discoveries interesting, and I hope a little entertaining. It turns out this website and blog has been a great way to reconnect with old friends and golf buddies. The other benefit of the site is the potential to meet up with new folks with a common passion in golf. Meeting new people out on the road, sharing a round or two, and talking about golf is something I had in mind when I started putting the pieces together for this journey, and I can't wait to meet you all.
The other thing I’m looking forward to is the journey itself. The idea of heading out into the country and making my way to new courses, seeing the sites, and allowing the journey to just evole sounds like a dream come true. This journey was inspired by reading a book and now I have a plan to execute my own quest. The next step is to by a few boxes of Pinnacle golf balls, clean up the clubs and book some tee times.
I’ve scheduled the first trip in March and I have two other trips scheduled for June and September. Logistically everything seems in order so it’s time to head out.
As planning continues I hope you all might be able to come out and join me for a round or two. Maybe you can meet me in Ohio, Kentucky, or Oregon...you choose. I have the schedules posted on the site and will keep everyone posted on any changes as the dates come closer to departure time.
Have a happy and safe New Year!
